THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - PAN AMERICAN (UTPA), Edinburg, TX. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION LECTURER - COMMUNICATION STUDIES (F09/10 - 11). The Department of Communication seeks a Lecturer (F09/10-11) for a three-year appointment to teach undergraduate communication courses in presentational speaking, advanced presentational speaking, small group communication, interpersonal communication, and other courses as needed, such as organizational communication or intercultural communication to begin Fall 2010. The position includes service responsibilities. Depending on need, summer teaching may be a possibility.
Position Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Communication Studies.
• University-level teaching experience in the above referenced content areas.
• Evidence of effective teaching as demonstrated by course syllabi and teaching evaluations.
