Lecturer – Broadcast Journalism

THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS - PAN AMERICAN (UTPA), Edinburg, TX. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATION LECTURER - BROADCAST JOURNALISM (F09/10 - 12). The Department of Communication at The University of Texas - Pan American (UTPA) invites applications and nominations for a lecturer specializing in broadcast journalism (F09/10-12) for a three-year appointment starting Fall Semester, 2010. M.A in journalism, broadcasting, telecommunication, or related field required. Candidate must possess technical skills in television and radio production and knowledge of communication application of computer technology with strong skills in solving hardware and software malfunctions with video equipment. Evidence of teaching experience is required. Experience in student news productions and professional work experience is a plus.
