Assistant Professor – French Literature

FRENCH, ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, TENURE TRACK (F09/10-31)
The University of Texas – Pan American is seeking applications and nominations to fill an Assistant Professor position in French Literature. The faculty member will teach courses and participate in the French Studies major and minor programs housed in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly achievement. The initial teaching load will be beginning, intermediate, and advanced courses in French, with the opportunity to develop new general education, upper division, and graduate courses in the area of specialization. Candidates must possess a PhD in French, Comparative Literature, or related field by Fall 2010.
