UTPA Professors David Carren (Communications) and Philip Zwerling (English) have each won the Annual One Act Play Writing Contest sponsored by South Texas College. Carren's play "Comments?" and Zwerling's "Personal Injury" will receive full productions in STC's Theatre in Building D (next to the Library) on the Pecan St. campus on Thursday, May 1, at 8 p.m. All are invited and admission is free. Carren, who teaches Screenwriting, and Zwerling, who teaches Playwriting, copped two of the top three awards in this yearly contest. Both professors are in their first year at UTPA.
